Hi there You need to go to the content item that the forum is on, and add that content item to the category. Sorry that was unclear!

In creating a forum list, there is an option to show only those forums that belong to a particular category. There is also a link to create a new category. But I have not been able to find how to link a forum to a category. Can you help? Thank you.
