System Functions

These functions let you check system information (such as site settings or which content items are special pages), include other Modules and send Signals.

Calling System Functions

You can use syntax of the form:

functionName()

to call these functions in your PHP code.

canSetCookie()

Name in Zenario 8

ze\cookie::canSet()

You should call this function before placing a cookie on a visitor's computer.

convertToUserTimezone()

Name in Zenario 8

ze\user::convertToUsersTimeZone()

Convert a date into the current extranet user's timezone.

dateNow()

Name in Zenario 8

ze\date::ymd()

Gets the current date, in MySQL format.

getRelativeDate()

Name in Zenario 8

ze\date::relative()

Formats a recent date or time into a friendly relative format, e.g. "35 seconds ago" or "6 days ago".

hideCookieConsent()

Name in Zenario 8

ze\cookie::hideConsent()

Calling this function will force the cookie-consent form to be hidden, even if a visitor has not yet accepted it.

Calling this function has no effect if a site does not use the "explicit consent" functionality.
